Hino 195 door dimensions

I'm adding extra security features to my Hino 195. I just started checking options online so I have an idea before bringing the truck to the shop. Anyone here knows the correct door dimensions or how to properly measure?

Best way is to measure the door from edge to edge, both width and height, with the door fully closed, you can check both driver and passenger sides since they can vary slightly

Just measure the height and width of the door frame from the inside, then check both sides since they could be different. Also have to to doublecheck with the manual or dealer to be sure.

I'm totally on board with those suggestions! Just out of curiosity, are you planning to install any locks, cameras, or alarms to enhance security?

Hey @SonnyH if you're adding latch guards or internal bars, don't forget to account for handle space and window clearance

Last year, I put a simple alarm on my Hino 195. I chose a universal 12V system from eBay. It required a bit of wiring, but it ended up fitting perfectly. If you're looking for something more straightforward, take a look at brands like Viper or Avital. Just be sure that it's compatible with diesel ignition delays.
