Are brand new Hino trucks worth it?

So it seems like a lot of people sell Hino 155 trucks once the warranty runs out and my cousin is hoping to save some money by buying a used one instead of going for brand new. He's considering a 2017 model but doesnt have much experience with these trucks especially since his background is mostly with older Powerstroke diesels. Wondering if theres anything specific he should be aware of when buying one. Are some years better than others? He’s just worried he might be opening up a can of worms. Any advice?

the 155 isn't the worst choice possible, but it's far from the perfect one. There are some problems with the emissions sysmtes which get clogged up, especially with city driving, so that's one thing to keep in mind. The engine is solid, but parts aren't found in local cafe shops, so it's something to keep in mind. If the one he found is solid, well maintained and doesn't have rust it could be a good purchase
