Wait for XL 7/8 Extended cabs

I just remembered waiting for the XL 7/8 Extended Cabs that year. Then I got an update from my dealer, and it turns out it wasn't until February 2022 that I could actually place an order. It felt like such a long wait, especially when I was hoping to get one much sooner, who else had the same experience?

Totally get it,Hino had delays with the XL 7/8 Extended Cabs due to engine certification issues, which paused production until late 2021. Lots of folks had to wait longer than expected. Staying in touch with your dealer helps, but yeah, it was a frustrating wait for many of us

Yeah, I remember that stretch, a bunch of us were in limbo waiting for Ford to open up ordering on the XL 7/8 extended cabs and it was annouing watching other trims trickle out while we just sat tight, then February 2022 finally came around, and it felt like we were scrambling to lock in builds before allocations vanished again

Exactly! It felt like a mad dash once orders opened. I remember refreshing my inbox nonstop, just hoping I'd get a build slot before everything filled up again. What a ride!!!
